1. Nice Try
Have owned this thing for several years. I have the Bravetti model F1068H.Takes a lot of oil and a very long time to come up to cooking temp. I stored it away and forgot how bad it was. My wife recently noticed it in the back of a cabinet and I thought GREAT let's start deep frying again. The 3rd time using it I realized it's not me it's the deep fryer.
I follow the cooking temps in the manual that came with it. The potatoes are limp and soggy inside. Mushrooms and zucchini comes out limp and soggy even when I increase the suggested temp from 285 to 300 degrees leaving the food in 4 minutes rather than 3 as the manual calls for.
Didn't cost a lot of money so I guess I can start my search for something that will do a real French fry.
Best thing about it is that it's easy to clean. If someone wants it they can have it for the shipping.
