1. Processor itself works well, the lid has been a consistent problem.
Since receiving this product I've only used it to make hummus and pesto and both times it did the job very well. Initially, I put the lid and bowl in my dishwasher and when I used it afterward, it was very hard to get the lid to lock into the bowl. I had to jam it in and was afraid I was going to break it. I think it may have shrunk a little in my dishwasher from the heated drying. Since then I've just hand-washed the bowl and lid, and now the lid locks in fine again. I think it's a good machine for the price (I paid less than $85) and it also comes with a 4-cup bowl with mini-knife and several shredding/slicing disks. The 11-cup bowl is the same size as some of the much pricier food processors, i.e. KitchenAid and CuisineArt, and it's very sturdy, not flimsy plastic. I will mostly use this food processor for making hummus and pesto and for pureeing bean and squash soups, etc. I'm not sure if I'll use it to mix bread dough or other heavy duty jobs, but it seems the motor will be able...

I have to say, this is a great product!
As a microwave it works fine, What I liked best was the convection feature.
I would rather manual time my food to my liking instead of using the preset compucook features.

My advise is to follow your normal cooking times for items you cook often in a regular oven, just reduce the temperature by 25 degrees.

example:
If you like chicken breast that are frozen(no need to thaw)
Place them in a Pyrex dish add seasoning of your choice..garlic, oregano, onions, etc.
a little olive oil or oil of choice.

chose the convection button, then press 1 for preheating oven. normal cook temperature would be 375 degrees for 40-45 min. Just set temp. at 350

The oven will preheat( be patient)takes about 3 min. the oven will beep when ready. (if you forget don't worry it will stop on it's own if you do not respond within 20 min or so.)
Place frozen chicken in along with seasoning...

2. Short Life
It is pretty sad that the life span of the Sharp product line has so eroded. I bought a Sharp R-820BW in August/2008. After only 18 months the microwave has stopped working. The Sharp R-820BW was purchased to replace a Sharp Carousel bought in 1983 which lasted 25 years! Now I must decide if I want to pay over $100.00 for servicing or buy a new unit - so much for GREEN. It seems like appliances are being built NOT to last, as if they are disposable and purposely constructed to require replacement inside of 2 years. If you don't mind replacing the R-820BW by the time you get used to using all the great features, go for it. The roasting and baking features did meet expectations. If the unit had even lasted a full 2 years I would give it 5 stars. However, considering the short life I can only rate it 3.

A crap shoot of a product
If you decide to purchase this particular unit, be forewarned that you may be either very pleased or disgusted. I read reviews from buyers who absolutely loved the unit and used it constantly. I also read reviews from buyers who stated they received units that didn't work correctly right out of the box, and others whose units failed after a short time. Mine is the latter ... Used approximately 4 times and then ... Nothing ... Totally dead. In my opinion, I think the manufacturer is attempting to put too many eggs in one basket -- trying to make one small unit do everything, and ending up with a unit that does nothing. Too bad, as I thought this product would be perfect for a very small kitchen space.

The one I bought on Amazon had a different picture-tag, otherwise it is the same EXACT pot as the one pictured here with the black handles, the black and red vent value in the handle, the 90 degree off/on heat coil/control dial, and the same dimension and spec. So, though this review does not have the "verified" buyer notation, I did buy one of such from Amazon and this review is the short version of my longer one for this same pot in that other product posting.

I like this pot; I would love it if it was 8 inches wide and deeper; you don't realize how big a spread a 12 inch round skillet is until you see it in 3D, real encounter. It is big, cooks fast, cleans easy, water inside and outside during cleaning pose no problem, stuck food comes off easy with a soft scrubbing sponge and if you soak pot immediately, the stuck-on comes off with just a rub of a sponge. The Talea Touch makes terrific coffee and has functions that are well thought out and easy to use. The only problem is that they can't make one that works.

I bought mine in Dec. 2009 from Seattle Coffee Gear. By March 2010, I had returned my third defective machine to Saeco. All three had different problems; the first leaked all over the counter when brewing (an internal hose defect), the second could not be programmed or hold a date and time; the third has a steam wand that leaked (poured) water during the brew cycle - enough to fill a shot glass for each coffee made. As of September, I have had to return it two additional times for repairs - a total of 5 times.

Saeco will fix or replace this again but what does that tell you about their QC? Saeco customer service has been helpful and courteous - once you reach them. Be prepared to wait > 45 minutes on their customer support line to reach a human being.

Maybe it is a little premature and I admit I was spooked by the negative reviews, but so far I have been very happy with Talea Touch. I bought it refurbished, not from Amazon but from an auction site (you know which one) and took out an extended SquareTrade warranty. It took little to no time to prime the water circuit, make custom adjustments to the grind and strength of the shot but it resulted in amazing espresso. Prior to this, I was using a Starbucks (Saeco) Barista espresso machine with a de-pressurized portafilter along with Ascaso I-mini grinder to make my espressos/lattes/cappuchinos. Despite reading coffeegeek and Home-barista.com, adjusting the grind/tamp/temp surfing techniques, my pulls were still resulting in shots too sour or too bitter. I was considering buying a higher-end espresso machine and PID kit for better temp control, but realized that I was spending way too much time in the morning griding/dosing/pulling and cleaning when I and my wife just want the d***...

Great do it all espresso machine
I have been looking for an all-in-one coffee machine and finally found it! Of all the ones in the market I decided on the Talea Touch for a couple of reasons: it's more compact then others and in the past I had good experience with Saeco's smaller espresso maker that worked well for a long time. Fortunately, I didn't read these reviews before I purchased mine from a store or I would have missed the opportunity of a great purchase. I actually like the fact that the reservoir is not too big, by replenishing it often it keeps the water fresh. The coffee is very hot for me, but I always ask for a couple of ice cubes when I travel and get coffee anywhere also. Nice little feature is the tiny wheels under the machine that makes it easy to move. Just today I added the large milk frother....can't wait for that!!

1. It works for me!
I know other reviews have said that this machine is hard to operate (not "one handed") and loud...yes, it does require a little "oomph" to hold down both sides of the lid in order to shut it completely, but you need the fit for the proper seal! It is quite loud, but again, aren't air compressors and vacuums loud also? The soft seal option is great; lets you choose how much of a vacuum is used in each bag of more delicate items like strawberries, hot dog and hamburger buns, and muffins. When you think it might squash the items during vacuum stage, you just hit the "seal" button and it stops and seals the bag. I do as the manual suggested and freeze the delicate items first before vacuuming. There is a "delicate" button to choose for this setting which helps the process.

I also recommend getting a model such as this that has the built-in bag holder which allows you to make your own size bags...sometimes those bigger roasts just won't fit into a pre-made gallon bag, and...

2. Works fine - glad I have one
I bought a less expensive model (w/o the extra space for roll storage) but mine functions just like this one. I have used it for about 2 months and it is working very well. Yes, that little nozzle gizmo on the sealer requires a few extra seconds sometimes, but for the most part it doesn't give me any trouble. Here are a few tips for successful use of ANY type of vacuum sealer:

1. Press down FIRMLY to lock the lid. Once it's locked (on both sides), you shouldn't need to keep holding it down.

2. Do NOT store it in a locked position, You'll wear down the gaskets.

3. Freeze delicate, spongy foods such as bread, cake, berries, etc. before vacuum sealing, otherwise the vacuum pressure will squish them. You can also stop the vacuum process early, but I prefer to freeze these items first so I can 'go the distance' on the vacuuming.

4. Freeze liquids and solid/liquid combinations (soups, meat cooked with sauce, etc.) before sealing. The...

Poor Customer Service Makes This Sealer Useless
We recommended a Rival food sealer to many friends and relatives, before it developed a glitch. After a short time, the sealer started turning off before the food saver bags were fully suctioned. It was necessary to unplug it and plug it back in to get it going again. As time went on, the problem became worse and worse. After receiving no replies to our contacts to Rival (2 to the 800 number and 1 via email), we tossed it and replaced it with another, more expensive brand. Rival's customer service is non-existent, so do not take a chance with buying any of their products. If it should break, you are on your own.

Looking at the picture, Everything you see in red is metal, not plastic. Everthing clear is glass, not plexiglass. Heats quickly, pops great! I've looked a lot a machines under $300 and they were small, 4 0z kettle, made of plastic, and had noisy humming motors. This one is metal, glass, stainless, and the motor is quiet! It has three switches, one for the light, one to heat the kettle, and one to turn the stirrer, I didn't see one for the base warmer but the base does get hot-maybe it turns on with the light?

Shipped in one box, but needs assembly. Couldn't find the instructions but managed to get it together without them only to discover the instructions were packed with the popcorn bags. My point, it wasn't hard to put together. Attaching doors,tray and kettle to machine, and legs, wheels, and handle to cart is all there is to it. Weighs about 70 lbs and shipping was FREE!

1. Nice machine and system, but mediocre capsules
I have three Nespresso machines, including this one. My comments concern the Nespresso system rather than any particular machine, but I can't see paying [price] for this D150 when for only [price] you can get the D300.

The idea of the capsules rather than using coffee beans requires some trade offs, but has lots of huge advantages. The capsules are super convenient, fast, clean and neat, attractive, and allow you to easily serve a variety of coffee blends (decaf, latin american, african, pure arabica, etc, which is fun). A big advantage is that they stay fresh for months at a time, so you can always have them on hand when you need them.

Comparing the Nespresso system with the conventional system shows the value of convenience. Conventional machine: you have to have fresh beans, you have to have an expensive burr grinder (more counter space, more to clean, more to break down), you have to get the fineness of the grind correct, you have to measure the ground coffee accurately,...

2. Easy to use, good to drink
I first tried the espresso from this machine at a friend's house. The espresso was hot and had a wonderful crema and it was ready in less than a minute. I have owned less expensive machines and stovetop models but they never came out hot enough or with enough crema (if any). I received my machine and within minutes I was brewing my first cup. The cartridge system offers no coffee ground mess of the traditional machines. My wife enjoyed a hot cup of tea this morning from the steamer/hot water spout which produced steaming hot water in less than a minute. The only downside is that you have to order your coffee blends from the company but the up side is that the selection is excellent and the price is about $.45 a cup (less than any resturant or Starbucks). They ship your order by 2 day UPS and if you order from them online there is free shipping (minimum of 100 cartridges). There is a nice bonus with your first order, but I won't spoil the surprise. I agree with the gripe of some of the other reviewers: relying on the capsules only takes away some of the fun of being able to try different coffees. And the ones that use Robusta are a problem. However, two of the capsules, Arpeggio and Livanto, use 100% arabica beans, and, Arpeggio especially, are truly wonderful.

I have trouble now enjoying espresso anywhere in town; only a couple of extremely expensive restaurants serve Illy or something of the sort that is consistently better than my nespresso machine. Everything from Starbucks on down just doesn't seem as good. Even some traditionally great coffees like Lavazza seem mediocre by comparison.

The D150 was possibly the most rewarding investment I've made, and for 200 dollars is certainly worth the cost.

Kitchen Aid lift stand mixer
I bought the Kitchen Aid mixer because I had previously used this product in a restaurant, and I could afford it. The mixer works perfectly, just as I had remembered, but the bowl has substandard welds, since it broke the first time I had to use it. Kitchen Aid replaced the bowl immediately with no questions asked, when I called customer service.

Many people have some problems with this mixer, since the bowl lifts up and down, and the head is immoble. This makes it a little harder to add ingredients, and the mixer has to be turned off and the bowl lowered to scrape the sides. The mixer is designed so that scraping the sides of the bowl doesn't have to be done as often as with a hand mixer.

I love the thing, tho, and I have yet to find an ingredient stiff enough that the mixer doesn't function.

Does everything as advertised, and does it well. This thing makes great home-made ice cream. The ability to modify the volume by varying the amount of the ice cream mix works, but takes some practice to get the desired result. Cleaning is very easy, which is a good thing, because it weighs 50 lbs and basically has to stay where you put it. I think it has only two caveats. This is a noisy piece of equiment, although, with some experience, the change in the noise as the ice cream get processed can indicate when its done. The second is that its a good idea to stock up on the gaskets it needs to keep the seals in the dispenser because they will wear out, although KitchenAid did provide an extra set in the box.

2. Great if you understand what it is and what it's not.
I have had this machine for a month now. It was a leftover stock from an Expo design center. Kitchenaid has quit producing them. I paid around $650 for it as they wanted it off their stock and it was the last one.

When some see this rather large looking machine they think it may offer a large capacity than it does. This unit can freeze room temperature liquid in about ten minutes more or less. Impressive! But you have some heavy duty freezing units getting it done. Alas the actual containment drum for this unit is fairly small. It's probably good for a quart of softserve, or 3-5 frozen drinks depending what size glass you use.

Now, as to what this is and what it isn't.

It isn't technically called an ice cream maker. it's a frozen dessert maker. This unit is basically like those frozen slushee/slurpee machines you see at the convienence stores. With a couple differences. One being capacity is obviously smaller. Second, the Kitchenaid unit freezes...

BUYERS BEWARE as there are very few parts available for this DISCONTINUED Kitchen Aid appliance. This is shocking as I have a house full of their products. If you are very lucky you might be able to find maintenance O-Rings occasionally but that is about it. Pieces of the dispenser assemble broke on mine and this part is "NLA" or No Longer Available. This has left me with a $1200 item I cannot use. I used it four times, doing the math each cone of soft serve cost me about $200 each. There are also some sellers trying to sell-off their units for $2300 to $2500 these same sellers are not telling customers about the parts problem either. I find it quite shameful that some people attempt to sell products at more than twice the retail manufacturers' price as well.

At this writing I've owned the J5 for two weeks and have produced approximately 100 shots of espresso/coffee. Having stated that as a qualifier, I've found this super automatic espresso machine to be outstanding in performance, ease of use, and quality of espresso produced. The controls are simple to understand and use - there are detailed descriptions of these available on multiple vendor websites, the manufacturer's website even includes a number of very informative videos.

2. Great taste, pleasure to use
For many years I have used a Krups super automatic, but sadly it broke. After contemplating various machines, we did a taste test of several, and the Jura won hands down.

The Jura uses a lot more coffee for each cup that it brews, and as a result it extracts a bit less, leading to a much richer smoother taste instead of a slightly bitter taste. We did a blind taste test between the Jura and the Saeco and the Krups, and the difference was extremely clear. The Jura was just fantastic.

Set up of the machine is very simple. It took just a few minutes, and all of the parts are clearly marked.

It includes a water filter option, which we are using, so as not to have to descale. The frothing siphon attachment works very well and delivers a perfect amount of steamed or frothed milk and is very easy to clean. I find this nicer than the wand, which some users report can fly off.

I've owned semi automatic machines in the past and let me tell you, this machine certainly brews a better espresso than any of those machines ever did! Just to prove a point to my husband, I brewed him an espresso at home last night, then took him to our favorite cafe this morning and bought him one, and then I heard those beautiful words, "You were right." Music to my ears! So if you're looking for a tasty espresso, that requires no effort or thought what-so-ever, give this machine a whirl and you won't be sorry!

At first I turned on the machine, it started a espresso and turned off in the middle and I thought, the machine is bad. Then I realized that I did not have the plug in the back of the unit all the way in. Once I set the machine up and ran a couple drinks through to adjust it I knew this machine was good. The espresso looked very close to the best with proper crema, smell and color.
I have not tried the milk island because I have no room, It is probably cool but I do not see a need as the hand unit works excellent.

This machine is replacing a Saeco Syntia, all I can say is purchase the Gaggia Platinum, no comparison in drink quality. The Syntia is going back to the store it was purchased.

Next I steamed some milk by hand and made a Latte, excellent job, the taste was amazing.

Looks great but quality is bad
I purchased this product and while it has a lot of nice features like touch screen, programability, motorized drip tray it definitely is lacking in quality. I used the espresso maker for a few days and then it decided to stop brewing coffee and instead leak water out of the inside of the machine. I had to mop up my kitchen counter and there is no way for you to get inside of the machine to see where the leak is coming from. I've owned 3 gaggia makers and one Jura Capresso and I would tell everyone that the Jura is definitely a better machine. My first gaggia completely stopped working after 3 years. My replacement gaggia stopped working in less than a month, but that was covered under warranty. I got a replacement which had to go in for repairs 3 months later for some rattling noise. Supposedly the interior mechanics was rubbing up against the exterior plastic. Well that depot repair lasted for a few months before it stated happening again. Unfortunately it cost me $40 to ship...

If you are just toasting standard size toast or english muffins, the toaster is great. This is not a wide slot toaster! Some bagels are too thick for it and irregular size bread has to be cut to fit. I forgot that in my excitement to purchase this item. I had an older Krups wide slot--the kind with the glass tube- and it worked really well for all my toasting needs.

2. SIMPLY THE BEST TOASTER!!!
After years as a Dualit owner, I still get a certain pleasure from using its sensible, rugged controls, raising and lowering the toast myself, hearing the friendly ticking of its timer...
It's only a toaster I know, but there's just something about it that gives you a sense of satisfaction. And it makes any kitchen look cool, just siting there. I also know it's expensive, but I've known people buy several new, lesser toasters in the time I've had my Dualit, so who's saving? If something does go wrong, I can get new bits so I won't have to throw it away, ever perhaps.

By the way, it makes good toast too. The best thing is that the toast doesn't pop up, and toast is much crisper if you leave it down (keeping warm) inside the toaster for a minute or two. You can't usually do this with regular toasters.

If you are resistant of the price, think again, it's well worth the investment!

We've only had this microwave for less than 4 days, so I can't say a LOT about it. So far, so good.
One thing I HAVE to comment on is how quiet it is. I was shocked. It is just SO incredibly quiet.
We have a great room and always had to turn the t.v. volume up to a ridiculous level with our old microwave (which actually wasn't any louder than any other microwave I've ever had), and with this one, the volume doesn't need to be adjusted at all. It's fabulous.

So far, the only complaint I have is that the bottom of the door catches on the top of the slide-out vent. So, that's annoying, but tolerable. Makes it so I can't just slam the microwave shut the lazy way.

Microwave worked for 2 weeks, then gave up the farm. Magnetron no longer cooking. This is what I was afraid of. If you look at the other color options, you will see the same problem. I have a customer who has the SS version and I am wondering how long his will work. Has great features and was fairly accurate on the preset cooking options. I filed a claim today. I was in the market for a new blender after my 350w blender died. I didn't want to buy another cheap blender that would die fairly soon, but didn't want to pay $400 for a Vitamix or Blendtec blender.

It's a commercial blender, and so it comes with a powerful 1 hp motor that blends everything I've tried so far to a perfectly smooth consistency in short time. 2. I Love My Bar Maid Blender!!!
I have been using this blender for a few weeks now on a daily basis making everything from smoothies, dips, soups, etc. I am so happy with the efficiency of this blender! It has unbelievable power and it's not extremely loud like my Cuisinart. It also comes apart very easily to clean, which I personally love because I never felt that I could get into all of the crevices of my Cuisinart to thoroughly clean it. My only suggestion would be, if you don't have a refrigerator that crushes ice then invest in an ice crusher (or you could go old school and put the ice cubes in a plastic bag and smash them to smitherings with a ladle). I would imagine with the power of this blender that it would not have a problem crushing whole ice cubes, but I have not attempted it because the manual suggested not to (and I definitely don't want to damage the blade). I've read very positive reviews for this blender. I've also read some pretty bad reviews. I decided to trust the good ones. Maybe those reviewers did and continue to have a great experience with their Bar-maid blender, and more power to them. However, I have not had a good experience with mine.

The build quality makes it seem up to any task. But that has not proven to be the case. I have to cut things in pretty small pieces before they will blend. Larger pieces of frozen fruit (and by larger I mean 1" in diameter) only partially blend or do not blend at all. It takes considerable coaxing and time to get a decent blend. It cannot handle cracked ice from our fridge, which breaks the ice up into fairly small chips. Any addition of cracked ice results in unprocessed lumps of ice in the end. I am writing this to warn all of you cooks and bakers at home, that like me, prefer real commercial equipment in your kitchen. Anything less is just a toy. I had purchased the Waring Pro 1500 convection oven thinking this would be a quality convection oven to replace a Farberware convection oven that I have had for over 10 years and just plain wore out. I ordered the Waring Pro 1500 from a catalog/online store other than Amazon, I don't know if it is legal to say, but it does have the word Chef's in it. I was so excited to get it! I opened the box, set it up, and was so disappointed. It was made so poorly I was just sick. The stainless steel top was not smoothed out, the oven door was installed so crooked it scraped the metal off of the side of the controls, and it had been dropped or something before packing because the feet were up inside of the thing, and the top was bent down. The shipping packaging was fine, there was no broken packing and the box was fine. OK, so I sent...

2. So far, so good....
I just received this oven yesterday after waiting nearly 6 months for it to be in stock. I wanted a convection oven to replace my beloved microwave/convection oven that was too tall & wide to fit anywhere in my new kitchen. This oven had the right dimensions (barely, though, at 23.5"w x 14.25" h x 21" d), the right capacity (can easily hold a 9 x 13" pan) & the right price. It also has a rotisserie - an unexpected bonus. The timer has an old-fashioned ticking sound because it's a dial rather than a digital one. The sound is actually rather soothing. The fan is audible, but not annoying - but that's the nature of convection cooking. I must say that I do have this appliance in the old wall oven cabinet, so that muffles the noise somewhat. In person, it's a very commercial-looking piece of equipment. It feels quite sturdy. The glass in the door is clear & you can see anything cooking very easily. Before I used the oven to actually bake or roast something, I heated it up to test...

Waring Professional Convection Oven
This oven was delivered very quickly - I was surprised. I like the oven very much and particularly the rotisary. I have rotisarized about everything you can think of and it is all delicous. I have trouble baking cookies in it, as the temperature is quite a bit higher than a normal oven and things burn easily. I am sure practice will make perfect. I was also surprised at the amount of heat this oven creates. You must have it in a well ventilated area (open) for safety. On a countertop under cabinets would not be advisable. Too much heat! Other than that I am quite happy with it and would probably order it again.

1. Nice pot. Used 2 times and out of order. Flimsy construction. Ordered another one, broke down after 1 year.
I don't like the idea of consuming any more harmful chemicals into my body so I bought this. The whole pot is made of zisha clay. They also give you a steam zisha tray. However, the construction is not as consistent and as good as Japanese cookers. Mine arrived with the lights and buttons working in a funny way. Also, the warm rice button is not working. No green light after the rice is done. I only used for 1 time with Japanese rice using the Chinese rice mode.(Update: the second time I use it, the cooker is completly NOT WORKING! I plugged in and it's just blank! Can't cook rice at all.) The rice is pretty nice. Nothing stick to the bottom so that's the good part. I'll going to contact the seller to see if they can exchange for another one for me. I love the idea but due to its flimsy construction, I would NOT recommend it.

Update: After 1 year of using it, it broke down. I believe it's the electrical circut problem. I highly recommand the Tiger or other Japanese brand...

2. good product and good gift
I've been using this rice cooker for 6 years. My family enjoys the soft rice and wonderful rice smell when we back home. It's easy to use and safe. It keeps the rice warm for hours and disconnect from power by itself.

I love zisha so much, I also bought zisha speedy soup pot in amazon. The soup is delicious. Everyday, I press the button for rice cooker and soup pot. Both of them are ready to serve when we back home. It's so convenient. I recommend this product to you, if you are a busy mom like me. Three kids. Ha Ha.

By the way, I also find out both of them are good choices for gift. All my friends enjoy them. Whenever I want to buy a gift, I will always end up here.

Have had this machine for about 3 months now. It makes very good espresso and capuccino. Very flavorful and pretty easy to make. However, I primarily drink capuccinos and I find that the milk does not come out hot enough. It is very frothy, but only lukewarm. The manual suggests heating the cups, which I have done, but no real improvement. Instead, after making the coffee, I have to microwave it for about 20 seconds afterward. It reduces the froth a little, but the coffee is then hot.

We purchased a refurbished Jura F7 several years ago from Amazon; it has been making wonderful coffee ever since with no issues. You can find much cheaper cleaning tablets than the Jura brand.

I got mine refurbed, its really nice so far. Not the happiest that at 2oz or more on strong 1 cup, it actually runs water at the end. I like the really big glasses of latte, grande style; very strong. I just make 2 seperate shots, since the two cup function does not allow altering of strength. I actually got it fine turned after a week, and we got a caramel latte from starbucks to taste test side by side; you honestly could not taste the difference. Misunderstanding that I had and anyone new to automatic, is you still froth milk separately. Coffee end is the extent of automatic. Seen some people listing refurbished with 1 year warranty, I spoke with Capresso customer service and they said 1 year is on new units only, and 90 days on refurbished, no exceptions. After having read many reviews I decided on the Jura F7 refurbished, thinking that it is expensive enough to expect the best. The machine arrived damaged, the first several initial test runs left me with a major flood across the kitchen counters. The customer service (Mo- Fri ET) requested me to contact Capresa to trouble shoot before a return can be scheduled, another hour wasted. At this point I requested a full refund. Now the customer service offered to email a return UPS label, it NEVER arrived, another call and I was informed that they need to contact Capresa who will mail it. Before I bought this oven I was thinking of buying a more expensive toaster oven (Breville Smart Oven, that it's around 250 USD)But after a while I decided not to spend that much. I was afraid that the oven would be too small however I can now see that it can hold up to 6 toasts, that's great.

Although attractive,. this toaster oven is neither "sleek nor compact". I would say it looks more like a microwave oven on the counter than a toaster oven. The measurments are not listed in the description but it is almost 18" long and over 15 inches deep.

The Maytag MMV6180WW microwave is an excellent above range unit. It's a quality microwave that has a nice design. The outside of the unit has a slight industrial/sleek look to it. Cooking power is even and much, much better than other units I've used.

First let me say that this Maytag microwave is fairly heavy. You'll need help with getting it put on the wall. However, installation was very quick and simple. A paper and cardboard template are provided to place the hanging bar and appropriate screws/holes. You use a template on your upper cabinet to cut holes for the power cord and two bolts. Another template is used on the wall to properly place the bar that will support the microwave. The template will also help you decide where to cut for external venting if you choose. You can have the vent circulate the air inside or vent to the outside. I chose to vent it out of the house. Remember when installing to measure twice and make sure you have everything lined up...

2. Maytag Microwave
This microwave is wonderful and ordering from Amazon was a lifesaver. Our microwave died suddenly and it was going to take us 4-6 weeks to get this model - even though we live in Michigan and they are made in Michigan! I was somewhat leary about ordering through Amazon as the order was filled from the East coast. But if arrived in 4 days (3 days earlier than promised) and was in great condition. Great service, great price.

I've had this microwave for some time now and I've had multiple repair attempts with no success. The template for mounting Maytag microwave did not match up with the parts. Had to go back to the store to luckily get the right mounts. There was no manual or anything on how to use the microwave. Had to go online and information was limited. I still don't know how to use the features and will have to contact the store AGAIN. Not a good start for a Maytag product, whatever happened to quality control.

I then tried to register my Maytag appliance on line and was unable Error message made no sense to me. Serial number does it have zero number or the letter O, why do that?

2. Way overpriced on Amazon
Microwave is fine, is replacement for worn out one and ordered primarily because it matches my oven. I rarely use a microwave for cooking but use it for popcorn, boiling water, melting things, and occasionally reheating things. For this the microwave is fine.

But the price is overpriced when it appears to be a sale price. It never cost the listed price, it is listed on the maytag website for 100 dollars less. Available at several local retailers for $269.00 including Lowes and Home Depot including free shipping. Even if local sales tax is 10% you still save substantial money.

Used to be I could expect prices to be lower then local. Now I find I have to shop around and more and more often I find lower prices.

I LOVE this mixer!! I have wanted a Kitchenaid for so long and I don't know why I waited! (Well perhaps the cost, but it puts what I used for years to shame) It certainly makes baking more fun... and in half the time!

I purchased this mixer at COSTCO 4 months ago. What got my attention then was the great rebate from KitchenAid - so watch for those. I used it ALOT during the holidays. Made great cookie dough and I am amazed at how fast egg whites whip up. I have mixed meat loaf in it also.(No more gross hands!!) I will be honest and say I have not made any bread dough with it yet, but that's next.

I do recommend getting a second bowl for the mixer so when you have to mix 2 different parts of a recipe you can just switch out the bowls.

The only CON I see is that you have to stop and scrap the bowl a couple times. You can't do it while mixing as the way the beater moves and completely mixes throughout the bowl. It mixes ingredients well and none left on...

I'm very pleased with the item, it arrived on time, it works well and I even got some extra's I wasn't expecting!

This stand mixer is quite a bit bigger than the more popular, weaker model (not sure of the model number now). I don't particularly like that the head doesn't flip up like on other models, but I LOVE that it has so much power behind it!

I received this stand mixer last Christmas and can say it has been the best present ever! It is easy to use, clean, and has surpassed my expectations. It comes with all the basic attachments and even TWO bowls(one with a handle)..all useful even for a new baker like me. I use my mixer at least once a week and the quality has been amazing. No problems with the motor or accessories. You can even add the Kitchen aid attachments to this product. My suggestion is to keep your product guide handy for reference until you learn what speeds are stir,beat, mix, etc. Also, if you will use to bake cakes the flex edge Kitchen aid beater is great..it blends just a little better because it scrapes the bowl for you ! The mixer bible has been another helpful reference for this Mixer. For the price you can not beat the Kenmore Stand Mixer!

2. Great bang for the buck
I had a classic kitchen aid mixer that burned out on me in less than 5 years time. I have heard that they don't make them like they use to. I needed a new one and was looking for another kitchen aid because I have several attachments for it and didn't want to have to buy all new ones. I kneed a lot of bread doughs and use the meat grinder attachment a lot so I need a mixer with a powerful motor. The kitchen aids with the wattage I need are over $400. Then I saw this Kenmore model. It has a 400 watt motor, a 5 year warranty, is less than half the price of the kitchen aid, and works with all the kitchen aid attachments. It also comes with 2 mixing bowls as a bonus. One 3qt and one 5qt. I have found no downside to this so far. I am recommending this to everyone I know.

I love my kitchenAid food processor!. I searched for a long time for the perfect pink food processor, a whole year to be exact. I wanted all kitchenaid so I waited and finally got it. 2. broke after two years
I bought this because I liked the user-friendly design and color, but it broke after a couple of years. I also had issues with cleaning: there was mold growing in the handle of the processor, which could not be disassembled for cleaning. It was gross, and possibly a health hazard. My mom's food processor has lasted her entire life and shows no signs of quitting. It's not pink and it's big and kind of ugly, but it was apparently made to a much higher standard of quality then the overpriced, flimsy appliances KitchenAid is selling to home cooks these days.
