So after many returns and broken blenders and before we wanted to spend over $500 for the "supposed upper class blenders" we saw this blender at a fraction of the price and thought we had nothing loose. This arrived sooner than expected after ordering and upon opening greatly exceeded our expectation. This machine is heavy, durable, designed for easy clean-up and has some great dial settings and extras (the picture and blade design is identical/better than the $500+ models I have seen and this thing has some serious hp) . Out of the box I decided to put this to the test, it turned ICE into fluffy white powder and was still hungry (the many different blend settings allow you to control if you want something obliterated or chopped).
