Samovar is one of those devices that are considered luxury in today's standards, but they were a most not too long ago especially in Middle Eastern and Russian cultures. My wife and I both have sweet memories of our grandmothers making tea out of these oddly shape appliances, and when we needed a new kettle, we considered going all the way up to the one and only samovar! Living in US, your choice is kind of limited, and certainly there are not enough reviews and feedbacks available on different models and brands. What we observed was that samovars start at about $100, and they go all the way up to about $3,000, and the price depends on the size and materials they are made of. The more expensive models usually have larger sizes, like 15 liters, or they have expensive gold plated outer surface.
