This Over-the-Range Microwave Ovens give to us some advantages, like this :
1. SO QUIET!!!!!!!!!!!
We've only had this microwave for less than 4 days, so I can't say a LOT about it. So far, so good.
One thing I HAVE to comment on is how quiet it is. I was shocked. It is just SO incredibly quiet.
We have a great room and always had to turn the t.v. volume up to a ridiculous level with our old microwave (which actually wasn't any louder than any other microwave I've ever had), and with this one, the volume doesn't need to be adjusted at all. It's fabulous.
So far, the only complaint I have is that the bottom of the door catches on the top of the slide-out vent. So, that's annoying, but tolerable. Makes it so I can't just slam the microwave shut the lazy way.
***Update*** It is one year later, and we are still in love with this microwave. We have not had any problems with it.
2. have my doubts
Microwave worked for 2 weeks, then gave up the farm. Magnetron no longer cooking. This is what I was afraid of. If you look at the other color options, you will see the same problem. I have a customer who has the SS version and I am wondering how long his will work. Has great features and was fairly accurate on the preset cooking options. I filed a claim today. I hope it turns out well.
