Give the final touch to bag sealing. I used to seal the bag and try to use a scissor or utility knife to cut the excess off afterward. I can never cut a perfectly straight cut. The plastic bag is too slippery that even with a straight edge, I still could not get it right. This heat sealer has a side cutting knife. It cuts straight every time with easy. The cut is about 1/2" to 5/8" from the seal line.
