1. Delonghi coffee maker
This is our second coffee maker by Delonghi. We love the front-load style. We had a 2 instances of leaking such as is DeLonghi DCF2212T 12-Cup Glass Carafe Drip Coffee Maker, Blackdescribed in former revues. With the first coffee maker, we adjusted our thinking to make sure the access was completely open. After that, we had no problem. We didn't like the lip of the carafe because it inevitably dripped on the counter unless you poured extrememly slow.
The newer model of the same coffee maker has been a dream. First thing we noticed was the redesigned lip on the carafe. It has not dripped one bit. Also, even though the design of the front loader looks the same, we have not had one instance of leaking. The coffee comes out too hot to drink for me, but my husband loves it that way...so it's just about a perfect coffee maker for us. 2. Nice looking, but carafe drips.
I purchased this item based on good reviews, but I was disappointed that the carafe drips onto the counter when pouring, even when being very careful. Also, the feature that allows you to pour while it's still brewing doesn't work very well. I do like it's design and that it makes 14 cups.
