This Electric Slicers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Not too bad for the price.
I purchased this slicer, as we buy food in bulk, and I used it to slice lunch meat and cheese. It does well on a baked ham also. Problem is, it needs to be angled approx. 10 degrees more, so that gravity can help when the food exits the blade. It sometimes will get sucked into the blade and go underneath the blade, meaning you have to stop and clear it. My old commercial slicer had a curved partition that allowed the meat or cheese to curve away from the blade. This product just has a straight plastic guard which guards nothing. It has the power to slice everything, however it does poorly with cheese due to the cheese sticking and getting sucked in as I stated before. My brother has a slicer he bought at a restaurant supply, that I have him slice my cheese on, which he has no problem with. this is not a heavy duty machine in my opinion, but a medium duty machine. Cleaning is straight forward, with taking the blade off, via a safety disk, and then taking the table off. Hope this review...
